A not-so-secret desire to be literary has seeped into my visual artwork.  Thinking of ways to interpret language and its myriad of meaning have been an ongoing thread in daily creative pursuits. Creating short narratives, translations and the distillation of language are a reoccurring fascination.  Ricocheting between painting, drawing & photography, ideas coalesce.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and counting half my years in the San Francisco Bay Area, the dramatic landscape of the West is a contrast to the intimate landscape of New England that are my roots.  I have that seasonal cycle inbred in my bones.  Each winter I still think it is going to snow.
